Pollino National Park is the largest national park in Italy, located between Basilicata and Calabria, between the provinces of Cosenza, Potenza and Matera with its 192,565 hectares, of which 88,650 on the Basilicata side and 103,915 on the Basilicata side. Calabria, taking its name from the homonymous mountain massif.
Established in 1993, the park conserves and protects, under its emblem, some rare plants, including the loricato pine.

Flight of the Eagle: a unique emotion

Flight of the Eagle is a Lucanian tourist attraction located in San Costantino Albanese, in the province of Potenza, in the territory of the Pollino National Park and unique in its kind.

Rafting in Basilicata

Rafting is possible in the heart of the Pollino National Park, in the municipality of Laino Borgo. Considered the natural gateway to Pollino and Calabria, one of the most fascinating and spectacular rivers in Europe flows: the Lao river.

The Lao River Gorges offer a unique panorama that can be traveled by rafting and canoeing.

River descents on sparkling waterways aboard pneumatic boats specially designed for this purpose.

Rafting is generally known as an extreme sport, in reality it is a fun activity that can be practiced in absolute safety by all types of users, including boys and children.
